Merry Christmas 2008

Well, Santa was very proud of how good I have been so he decided to give me a new camera! I guess he heard all the complaints of the old one and gave in!!! So, all the pictures of Christmas Day are on the new camera that has not been put on the computer yet. This video was taken by Gigi of the kids seeing the goodies from Santa. Enjoy!!!

Hunter's new Spiderman motorcycle

Abby and Hunter

Our neighbor down the street called and said they had a special surprise! Santa and Mrs. Claus were coming to see all the good boys and girls in the neighborhood. So..our family along with Gigi, Mammaw and Poppy headed down the street. Santa showed up with a huge bag of goodies. Reagan got a new Ariel doll and Hunter got a Spiderman riding a motorcycle. They were so excited! I was hoping that Santa had a new camera in that bag for us since ours is so fuzzy now. Here's hoping for Christmas Day!!!!

Hunter's School Christmas Party

Yummy food for snack.

Hunter's cool classroom.

Surprise visit from Santa!!!

Alex and Hunter with their Rudolph hats!

Hunter had his class party on Friday. I was able to go and help. They had a little performance after the party. The teacher Ms Marsha told the students to find their spots and to stand with their hands to their sides. If you will notice Hunter is doing EXACTLY what she says! No surprise there!!!

Breakfast with Santa

Reagan is smiling at her brother instead of the camera.

The Three Musketeers

Frosty the Snowman

Melissa and The Gang

Reagan wasn't sure she wanted Rudolph to touch her.

Again...keeping her eye on the animal!

Santa and Mrs. Claus

Last year I was only able to take Hunter to the Breakfast with Santa, but this year Reagan and Alex got to join us. They really loved it, and even Reagan walked right up to Santa with her arms open wide. VERY different from last year if you all remember. We had a great time!

Our First Snow

Do I have to smile!?!

Pretty blue eyes!

You can see on the grass behind the snow hasn't built up enough to cover everything.

Reagan was hesitant to walk on the snow, so Big Brother came to the rescue!

The weather man has said that we are going to have snow for over a week now. We had a few flurries but no accumulation. This morning though....we woke up to a beginning of a winter wonderland! It is so beautiful. Not quite enough for a snowman yet, but the day isn't over!!! Enjoy my little snow bunnies!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Reagan didn't make it for Thanksgiving Dinner.

It's exhausting playing so hard!

Greg, Cayce and Cody playing the PlayStation

Our full table!

Looks Yummy!!!

Hunter and Reagan helped Mommy cook.

Daddy and Corie taking time out for a smile.

Reagan cuddling with her Papa.

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving. The food was wonderful as well as all the company. Our goal was to keep Reagan awake so that she would go to bed early and Ryan and I could watch the Texas game with little interruptions. Well....that didn't work. Hunter and Reagan were watching a movie in our room (so that Mommy could cook) and when I went in to get them for dinner, she was sound asleep on the floor. And you know what they say..."NEVER wake a sleeping baby!" She actually slept through dinner and the clean up. I even got to lay by her and sleep for 30 mins. We are all still very stuffed and look forward to left overs tomorrow. We hope that you all have had a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
Love,
Ryan, Melissa, Hunter, Reagan and Cayce :)

Charity Ball

As most of you know I am on the Junior Board for the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky. Every year we put on a charity ball. This year I was a co-chair with my friend Michelle for the silent auction part of the ball. It was A LOT of work, but well worth it! We raised a large amount of money considering the times. For the silent auction alone we raised over $15,000. All of that money goes directly to the boys and the facilities they live in! It was nice to get all dressed up for a night with my handsome husband. He was the best looking man in the room!

Walking with Dinosaurs

Looks like a Triceratops, but they called it a Torasaurus.

Pterodactyl

Brachiosaurus

Allosaurus

Stegasaurus

A few months ago Diane and I bought tickets to see Walking with Dinosaurs. The day was finally here. Hunter, being the cautious child he is, had serious anxiety about this show. When you watch the little video you can't even imagine how REAL these dinosaurs looked and sounded, but you can at least get an idea! The dinosaurs were robots that were moved around by remote controls. FACINATING!!! They had a great time and so did Diane and I!
