After quite a few months of serious rib pain, it was time for our sweet baby to join the world! I was at the hospital at 6am on February 10th. After an EXTREMELY long day and a baby that wanted to stay up in my ribs, Carson Leigh Helwig graced us with her presence! It was 9:52pm. She was 8lbs 6oz and 21.25 inches long. My sweet mother-in-law was at home with Hunter and Reagan. My neighbors came and hung out with Ryan and I at the hospital. They made the day go faster and kept our minds on the prize! I am so thankful they were all there. Plus when things got really exciting in the delivery room, Tracey was taking pictures for me and Michelle and Ashlea held the cell phones so that my mom, mother-in-law and sister could hear everything. Hearing the doctor say, "It's a Girl" and the sweet first cry from Ms. Carson. We are so happy and very blessed to have Carson in our lives. She is such a happy baby and seems to be very content. Not to mention, she is Hunter and Reagan's favorite new toy!!

Hunter's 6th Birthday
Everyone singing Happy Birthday to our Big Guy Hunter. Look how happy Ryan and I are looking our boy!
Charlie is helping Hunter blow out his candle.

I don't know who is more excited about the Ironman car...Hunter or Charlie.

Hunter's birthday party was at a bowling alley this year. Since we got the Wii for Christmas Hunter has become quite the fan of bowling. He did figure out VERY quickly that there is a BIG difference between Wii bowling and bowling with a real ball. All the kids had a great time...as did the parents watching their kids!

Big Snow in Kentucky
Hunter was so excited to see deer in the front yard. They are always walking in the woods out back, but never up front where we can really watch them.
We got so much snow within a two day period! One day it snowed from the time we woke up, all day and into the night. It was so beautiful. Plus it was another excuse for me to have Hunter home again!!! The kids just played and played. Emily and Charlie joined them. There were snow angels, snow balls, and sledding. Not to mention Reagan eating every bit of snow that she touched. (As long as she stayed clear of the yellow "Mason" snow we were fine!)
Great Wolf Lodge
What a cute couple...one of us has been either hitting the beer too hard or swallowed a basketball. Any guesses?
Hunter in line with Daddy for the water slide. He really didn't want to go on it, but was trying to be tough for dad and endured it not only once, but twice! Great job Hunter!
After Christmas we decided to have one more fun get away with the kids before our life begins with baby #3. There is a place called Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio about 45 min from us. It has a HUGE indoor water park, arcade, puppet show and lots of good food. We spent one night there with our neighbors. We had such a wonderful time. It was a great place to stay and the kids thought we were on a true vacation!
