Life's a Beach

The condos we stayed in. What a great set up we had. Three bedrooms, two baths, laundry room, full kitchen and spectacular view. Who could ask for more!?!

Hunter's first look at the awesomeness of Destin, Florida's Miramar Beach!

The most beautiful clear water!

Hook'em Horns!

Our first time on the beach as a family...wish it would never end!

Loves to be in the sand....you have no idea how long it takes to get all the sand off that girl!

No Reagan didn't write this...courtesy of Daddy!

Hunter wrote his name in the sand.

They had a neat Dolphin show at the Gulfarium.

Posing in the shell at the Gulfarium. You know Hunter...has to see the animals.

The way the tide came in the night before created a little pool just right for Reagan. She played in that water with and without Hunter for 3 1/2 hours when it finally dried up. Why get in the waves when you can sun bath in your own personal pool!?!

Playing in the sand while we waited for our table at The Crab Trap.

Reagan stuck to chicken and french fries.

Big muscles after trying crab for the first time and liked it!

Late at night by the beach...can't even see my hair it is so dark out there!

Reagan...no technique, Hunter...no clue if he is right or left handed at golf!

Sko's favorite animal!

Standing next to Hunter's favorite animal at the Putt-Putt

They may look little, but they are SCARY!!!

This is as close to the alligators he got!

Reagan posing with the alligator after actually petting one. She ran up to the alligator in the guys arms like she was seeing Mason. She touched his claws and everything. She will do that, but screams her head off when we want to hold her in the ocean...go figure!

Just playing in the sand.

One of the few times Hunter was out of the water.

Nap time!

The best sand castle we could make fast enough before "The Master of Disaster" aka Reagan destroyed it!

We had the most wonderful time at the beach. Hunter, though full of anxiety before we got there, LOVED the water. I told the story of the really large net out in the ocean that keeps the water life from coming onto the beach with us. His questions were...."Can the crab or lobsters snap the net with their claws?" "What about the Planet Earth movie where the dolphin chases the fish onto the beach?" My responces..."Don't worry they make the net really strong and...That was an area of the beach where people don't swim...so they don't need the net!!" Cleaver answers I know...too bad my friends and family had to help with those! Reagan never went into the ocean...however the sand was a huge hit! She didn't mind having it all over her, in fact she would purposely ask us to pour it on her.

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again some day. Gotta love family trips together!

Feeding the Ducks

Hunter, Papa, Cody and Reagan feeding the ducks.

Around the corner from our house is a Camp that has a huge pond with some ducks. Hunter has been asking for quite some time to go feed them. After we accumulated enough bread heels we headed to the camp. Reagan was immediately intrigued by them. She wanted to touch them, but changed her mind quick when one of the ducks grabbed the bread right out of her hand and scared her! From that point on she only looked at the ones in the water when she had food in her hands.
While we were there some Geese came up and tried to scare the ducks away. One was actually hissing at Reagan. So, I began running at it to keep it away. Reagan thought that was the funniest thing she had ever seen. So from them on she ran at them telling them to "Get away ducks...go back in da wader!" The kids had a great time!

A really big plane I can't remember the name of.

Since Cayce will be going home for part of the summer, my dad is in town to drive him home. We were planning on being gone last week to Florida, but due to the adverse weather conditions we postponed our trip to next week. Cayce was missing my dad so much he decided to come and spend the last two weeks here with us. In Dayton, OH there is an Air Force Museum. It was a spectacular exhibit. So many planes and historic memorabilia. Worth the drive for sure.

Then after the exhibit, we headed to Chili's for lunch. In the shopping center where Chili's is located was a REX Appliances going out of business. If only I hadn't seen the sign! By the time we left Dayton, OH we had two 50" Panasonic Plasma TV's in the back of the Expedition. One for us...one for my dad. And here I was worried about the cost to get into the Air Force Museum!!!

Neighborhood Gang

My neighbor Ashlea and I decide to head to the zoo. The kids were out because of teacher in service. We had 7 children and 2 adults. We were very out numbered but somehow survived the day. ALL of the kids were SO well behaved and I know had a wonderful time!!! The car ride home was VERY quiet!!!

A day at the Mall

Cutie Rea Rea

We headed to the mall for some fun at the play area and for dinner since Ryan was out of town. Had to pose for a few pictures. Reagan for some reason can't stay looking at the camera long. She is cute anyway!

Spring Soccer Time

Hunter's Little Lions Team

Alex and Hunter

Great stance Hunter!

Throwing the ball back into the game.

Trying to help his teammate Alex get a goal.

Well, we are back in soccer again. The weather has kept us from having games and practices, so this Saturday was our first game. Hunter had a great time and is finally understanding a little more about the game. He is still pretty timid about taking the ball when someone else has it, but that is our sweet Hunter. He is with the same team...this is our 3rd season together. Go Little Lions!!! I will try to get a video next time for you all to see.

Track Time for Cayce

Cayce's biggest fan!

Go Raiders!

Cayce is in track this spring and doing a great job. He runs in a lot of relays, which are always exciting! The weather has been awful so most of the meets have been cancelled at the last minute. I did get a video; however, it is blury. I guess I was zoomed in too much. I will do better next time.
